Wheat Sheaf

This has been a long time coming. Sorry for the delay. We were able to hit up this establishment for one of the Canada games and I will tell you that it didn't disappoint. Ample seating with lots of TVs in almost every direction and GREAT WINGS. We without any more stalling here it is.

Wing Quality 4/5 – These were great wings. They were big. They were crisp. There were flavourful. These had all the makings of good wings. standard flavours and I was able to get medium and they were tasty but could have used a little more kick. That was the only thing that I could discern making them a lot better. The price was pretty much the best I have had. For 30 wings I paid between $11 and $12!! Their deal is 1/2 price wings from Sunday to Tuesday and I would for sure check that out. These wings can stand up with the big boys on my scale and are worth the trip down there.

Sides and Extras 3.5/5- These were well done with the celery and carrots. There was a lot of them and with loads of dips. Didn't get much else as I had 30 wings but the celery and carrots Sinead would rave about.

Beer 3/5 – Standard with decent to standard prices. Molson bar with all the regulars.

Service 3/5 – The guy was pretty good. Tough day with the hockey being on but he performed adequately. Nothing special and nothing bad.

Overall 4/5 – This was a great experience. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of wing as well as the prices. It had that rare combination of crisp and juicy with a little but of sauce. This being the oldest bar in the city really showed me why and for my money this has been the best value and quality yet so far and with 3 options of nights to get there I am sure that they will do well.

Until Next time........
