I ate a lot of wings this week. You will get Kurt's take on this one as well.
When I got back from Halifax on Sunday I met up with Kurt for a beer. Little did I know that wings were on special and I can't turn that down. This place is right down the street from me so I imagine I will be back there again if not for wings then for a couple of brews. Actually Sunday night is poker night there (which I didn't know) and they have 2 tables and take it way to seriously for me to play. Alright here we go.
1. Wing Quality: 40 cent wings is a good deal. Apparently it is everyday after 10 they have this deal and for every leafs game. This is the most wide spread discount on wings at one place I have heard of. The wings were large. It was a good amount for 2lbs. The sauce had some good taste to it and was more flavourful then I expected but there was no bite at all for the mediums. They were enjoyable but not something I would cross town for.
3/5
2. Sides and Extras: I didn't order any sides and they didn't come with any. But, I was excited to find that they brought me ranch sauce right off the bat without even asking which is very rare.

3. Beer: Good beers on tap and decent pub prices
3/5
4. Service: Our waitress was good and friendly and we even talked about this blog. She was the only one there so it was a little tougher for her.
3.5/5
5. Overall Experience: This is a great place to have a casual local beer. The wings would not be the reason I go here but if I was here I would for sure get them when they were on special. Good service low key and a bunch of tvs for sports. Good combination.
3.5/5
Try Chick'n Deli at Mount Pleasent and Eglington... I found them OK, too vinegary. Apparently they are popular for wings. Tuesday night special with Beer
